Snowglobes

Posted by darlingdarleenadmin on

If you’ve been to Anthropologie recently, chances are you’ve seen their homemade snowglobes.  I knew we had to make a craft of it.  So the other day for our advent calendar we made mason jar snowglobes.  This is a really easy winter craft for children. My kids had so much fun that they made one for each windowsill in our sunroom.

All you need is:
mason jars
miniature trees (michaels)
other miniature winter items (snowman, reindeer, glitter jingle bells are from michaels)
spray adhesive glue
glitter
glue gun
fake snow

1. Spray adhesive glue on your trees then sprinkle glitter.  Let it dry

Then arrange your glittered miniatures on the inside cap of the mason jar.  Use the glue gun to attach.

Add fake snow to your jars.  Once the glue dries on the cap, turn it upside down and screw the top back on to the jar.  Then turn right side up (or upside down) and enjoy!
