While I was in the city, I took note of two dessert stops in the West Village. The first one we actually ate at is called Sweet Revenge . It’s a wine bar, but they have savory cupcakes that look like tulips because they are baked in parchment paper. The cupcake flavors are very decadent. I ordered one with peanut butter and buttercream frosting. Yum.
Another dessert stop is GROM. They are famous for their gelato. It’s the real deal–old-fashion gelato made by an Italian company from Italy using Italian ingredients. Wish we had a chance to stop here, but the line was long. They are serious about their ice cream quality–producing their own fruit on their own farm. All organic.
