Pavarotti has been a favorite in the Waite household. I have grown up with his beautiful opera voice blazing in the background. Not surprising since my Dad sings opera. I have fond memories seeing him in concert–I think I had stars in my eyes the whole time. We were all sad to hear he lost his battle to cancer. So, my family in Vegas has made it a tradition to celebrate his life every year with listening to his music all day and eating peaches!? Not sure why they choose peaches–I think because it starts with the letter “p”. Anyway, I called over at the parentals this weekend and everyone was over there canning peaches, making peach pies, dehydrating peaches with Pavarotti in the background.
