Stella has been begging me for the last few weeks to make sugar cookies. No particular reason. She just likes the whole process of making the dough, rolling it out, punching out the shapes, baking them, frosting and shaking sprinkles on them. So, we embarked on that journey this weekend.

Lucas loves his candy, and he eats is up in one breath–loading up his little mouth with as much as he can. Recently his request every morning has been “egg”, meaning one of his candy-filled Easter eggs. And then he says to me after scarfing down a handful…”mommy, I like me candy.”
